Road to COP31

Resilient40 welcomes the decision to convene the 31st Conference of the Parties (COP31) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change in Antalya, Turkey. As a Global South youth-led and youth-serving Network, we view COP31 as a critical political moment to move beyond commitments and confront the lived realities of climate-vulnerable communities, particularly young people across Africa,

In contemplating the intersection of finance, economics, and climate justice, it becomes evident that our current international financial architecture significantly contributes to exacerbating climate change and widening environmental disparities.

A NEW YEAR MESSAGE FROM OUR  FOUNDER AND CHAIRPERSON

As we step into 2026, I extend my deepest gratitude to our partners, allies and communities across Africa and beyond. The year 2025 tested our resolve amid compounding global crises right from climate shocks, environmental degradation, economic uncertainty and persistent inequalities. Yet, it also affirmed our collective power to act with courage, unity and purpose.
