2023 New Year Message from the Founder & Chairman
Happy New Year!
I hope I am among the first to greet you this new year because we are grateful for your continued support in the past years. We have accomplished so much in amplifying the Global South underrepresented Youth voice thanks to the steadfast dedication of our Resilient40 team with our partners and very generous supporters in every corner of Africa and around the world. We are making plans for 2023 with confidence that our highly relevant initiatives are poised to make an even greater impact in the new year and years to come.
Since its founding in 2019, R40 has brought focus to the importance of universal principles and shared values in resolving climate change, migration, food security and forming the basis for sustainable peace and development. We organized programs that foster dialogue and engagement among youth, communities and diverse people, working together with a common vision for the future based on time-honored ideals and values. Our work has steadfastly promoted moral and innovative leadership in all sectors, from international relations and government, education and development, to community building and family.
Given that the passion and energy of youth are essential to building a better future, it is crucial that we continue to develop partnerships and programs that promote experiential learning, cultivate leadership, and inspire and motivate young leaders to thrive. Investing in character and leadership development in our younger generation is vital for transforming communities, nations, and the world.
Life on earth is an age-old dream of conscientious people everywhere. Now more than ever, we have both the opportunity and moral imperative to affirm and honor the unique value, dignity, and fundamental rights of all people. Please join us in the great cause of making Africa Climate Resilient a substantial reality.
